Can you please tell me what in the world this is all about? Can you believe this? I mean c’mon. This can’t be real? Unfortunately it’s not much different from the attitude of many parents today. The damage that can be done to a child when a child is left completely to themselves when making media choices.
There is a lot of wonderful things on the web, television, magazines, books etc. But just like you wouldn’t drop your 3 year old child off in the middle of a large city and then hope they don’t get hurt in anyway, please don’t leave them alone to navigate their way through the internet or other media.
Media in an of itself is a good thing. It allows us to communicate on a mass scale. However, there are people communicating things that you may not want your child to hear. And what’s worse, your child is not equipped to sift through the garbage and tell the difference. It’s been proven that the human brian is not fully mature until you reach the age of 22. Please don’t think your child can do it all on their own.
And please don’t let your babies play with venomous cobras!
